- After 24 hours, or once processing for delivery has started: the order can be canceled only if our supplier accepts it. A 25% restocking fee applies, plus any shipping or return freight already incurred.
- Once any part of the order has shipped, it can no longer be canceled. It can only be returned under section 3.
- Special-order, custom, made-to-measure and assembled-cabinet orders cannot be canceled once they enter production or assembly.
3. Returns
- Return window: request the return in writing within 10 days of delivery. No returns are possible after 10 days.
- Condition: items must be unused, unassembled and uncut, in their original undamaged packaging. They must have no screw or nail holes, drilled handle holes, jobsite dirt, paint, glue, stains or odors, and no signs of storage in a garage or other non-climate-controlled space.
- Return authorization required: email your order number, the items and quantities you want to return, and photos of the items in their packaging. We reply within 2β4 business days. If the return is approved, we send the return address and instructions. Items sent back without our written authorization are refused and returned to the sender at the sender's cost.
- Return shipping is arranged and paid by the customer. Pack the items as you received them, on a pallet for freight-size orders.
- Free-shipping orders: if your order shipped free, or at a promotional rate, the actual outbound freight cost is deducted from your refund.
- Restocking fee: 25% of the returned product value.
- Inspection: refunds are issued after the items arrive at our or the supplier's warehouse and pass inspection, normally within 5β15 business days. Items that arrive damaged, used or incomplete are refused or have their value reduced.
4. Refund or store credit: your choice
- Refund: the approved return value, minus the restocking fee and shipping costs, refunded to your original payment method.
- Store credit: the same amount issued as store credit, valid for 12 months, plus a one-time discount code for your next order. The discount amount depends on the product line and is confirmed in writing when your return is approved.
5. Items that cannot be returned
- Cabinets that are assembled, partly assembled or show assembly marks, and doors or panels with drilled handle holes.
- Special-order, custom-color, made-to-order and made-to-measure items. This includes custom cabinets, doors, pre-cut boards, panels, moldings, aluminum systems, windows, and cut-to-size decking or countertops.
- Discounted, clearance, open-box and final-sale items. These are sold as-is.
- Pre-delivery warehouse assembly, design, measuring and expedited-processing services.
- Appliances that have been installed, connected or removed from their packaging, unless covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
6. Freight damage, concealed damage and missing items
Manufacturers and freight carriers only accept claims that are reported quickly, so these time limits are strict:
- At delivery: count the boxes and look for visible damage to the packaging while the driver is still there. Write every damaged, crushed or missing box on the delivery receipt (bill of lading), for example "3 boxes damaged, 1 missing", before you sign. Take photos. A receipt signed without notes ("signed clean") can lead the carrier and the manufacturer to reject the claim.
- Visible or transit damage: report it to us within 3 days of delivery, and before any assembly.
- Concealed damage (inside undamaged boxes) and missing or wrong items: open and check everything, and report within 7 days of delivery.
- Final cutoff, 30 days: on large orders delivered during a renovation, we review missing-part or damage reports received between day 8 and day 30 case by case. Replacement in these cases depends on the manufacturer and may be charged at cost. Nothing can be claimed after 30 days, and any later request is a new order.
- Once assembly or installation has started, damage claims for those items are no longer accepted, and responsibility passes to the installer.
How to send a claim: email info@cabinetsalescenter.com with:
- your order number and the delivery date;
- a copy or photo of the signed delivery receipt;
- for each damaged item: one photo of the item with its box and the item code label visible, one photo of the whole damaged part, and one close-up of the damage with a tape measure for scale;
- a list of the damaged or missing items: item code, description, quantity, and for cabinets the part (door, side panel, shelf, etc.).
We answer by email with the next steps and an expected replacement date. In-stock parts usually ship within about 1 week, and special-order or custom-color parts within 2β4 weeks, plus transit time. If we ask for more information and don't receive a reply within 5 business days, we close the claim.
7. Measurements, design and color
- You are responsible for the measurements and quantities you order. Our quoting and design teams work from the information you provide. If you are unsure of a dimension, order a narrower cabinet plus a filler. We are responsible for site fit only when you have ordered and paid for our measuring service.
- Wood is natural and varies in color, grain and texture. Painted finishes may show fine stress lines at the joints. Neither is a defect. Sample doors are available. Placing an order confirms you have accepted the color from the information and samples provided.
- Order extra material for cut-to-fit products: at least 10% extra (15β20% for diagonal or herringbone layouts) on flooring, decking, moldings and toe-kicks. Slightly damaged board ends, and up to 7% breakage on tile, are normal and are not defects.
8. Storage after delivery
After delivery, store cabinets and flooring indoors, in a dry, climate-controlled room. Damage caused by humidity, heat or garage storage, such as warping, swelling or mold, is not covered.
9. Warranty
Manufacturer warranties apply to custom cabinetry, hardware, hinges, glides and appliances. Their terms vary by product and are listed in your order confirmation or on the product page. Warranty claims follow the manufacturer's process, and we help you file them.
10. Chargebacks and payment disputes
Please contact us first. Most problems are solved with a replacement part. By placing an order, you agree to follow this Return Policy and contact us in writing before you dispute a charge with your bank or card issuer.
If a dispute is filed, we send the card issuer your recorded acceptance of this policy, the order details, the signed delivery receipt, tracking records and all of our correspondence with you.
A chargeback filed without first contacting us, filed for goods that were delivered as ordered, or filed to avoid the terms of this policy is treated as a fraudulent dispute. We contest it in full. Any balance that remains unpaid is sent to collections, and we may take further legal action to recover the amount and our costs. Future orders from the same customer may be refused.
