Standard DTC drawer hardware with optional genuine Blum® TANDEMBOX® upgrade

Modern Line cabinetry is supplied with DTC drawer hardware as standard. For compatible cabinet configurations, customers may upgrade to genuine Blum TANDEMBOX drawer hardware.

An optional TIP-ON BLUMOTION feature is also available for compatible Blum TANDEMBOX configurations.

Choose Your Drawer Hardware

Modern Line cabinetry offers customers a choice of drawer hardware systems.

Standard DTC Drawer Hardware

DTC drawer hardware is supplied as standard with applicable Modern Line cabinetry.

Depending on cabinet configuration and distribution region, standard DTC drawer configurations may include:

Standard DTC N Drawer

• White metal drawer side
• 3 1/2" H × 20" D

Standard DTC H Drawer

• White metal drawer side
• 9 1/2" H × 20" D
• Open sides with optional glass or metal side inserts

DTC N-Slim Drawer

• Gray or white slim metal drawer side
• 3 1/2" H × 20" D

DTC H-Slim Drawer

• Gray or white slim metal drawer side
• 6 7/8" H × 20" D
• Solid sides

Actual standard DTC configuration may vary by cabinet collection, cabinet type and distribution region.

Optional Blum TANDEMBOX Upgrade

For customers who prefer Blum hardware, genuine Blum TANDEMBOX drawer hardware is available as an optional upgrade for compatible standard (non slim) Modern Line cabinetry.

When the Blum TANDEMBOX upgrade is selected with a cabinet order, the applicable Blum drawer hardware is supplied in place of the standard regular DTC drawer hardware.

Available configurations may include:

Blum TANDEMBOX M

• For applicable standard-height drawer applications

Blum TANDEMBOX D

• For applicable high-fronted / deep drawer applications
• Gallery rail configuration where applicable

The appropriate configuration is determined by the cabinet and drawer application.

Optional TIP-ON BLUMOTION for Blum TANDEMBOX

Compatible Blum TANDEMBOX configurations may also be ordered with TIP-ON BLUMOTION, combining push-to-open operation with dampened closing.

TIP-ON BLUMOTION is an additional Blum feature for compatible TANDEMBOX configurations and is available only when the applicable Blum TANDEMBOX hardware option is selected.

Availability and required components depend on drawer size, weight and configuration  and typically available as standard (non slim) drawer replacements.

Hardware upgrades should be selected as part of the applicable Modern Line cabinet order whenever possible.

Hardware kits sold separately do not include cabinet-specific wood drawer bottom or back panels unless expressly stated. Compatibility is with standard (non-slim) drawers. If your region supports primarily slim drawers - Blum options that are mentioned in this page will not be compatible directly and you will need different drawer bottom and back panels made by your installer. 

PRODUCT IDENTIFICATION

DTC and Blum are separate and independent hardware manufacturers. DTC hardware is the standard hardware selection for applicable Modern Line cabinetry. Genuine Blum TANDEMBOX hardware is offered by Cabinet Sales Center as an optional hardware upgrade for compatible Modern Line cabinetry.

TIP-ON BLUMOTION is an optional Blum feature available for compatible Blum TANDEMBOX configurations.
