Countertop materials:
Two countertop materials are recommended to be used with Invisacook:
1st choice: the ultra-compact porcelain material that is 12mm thick or milled to 12mm or 1/2" (Lapitec, Laminam, Infinity Surfaces, Caesarstone Porcelain, Florim Stone, Moderno, etc….). We recommend porcelain for best results.
and
2nd choice: All-natural hard stones: granite that is milled to 1.5cm in the area of the cooktop and some other ultra compact surfaces and natural stones such as Quartzite that are heat resistant. When choosing natural stones, please consult your stone fabricator to approve due to possible fragile nature of the stone or uneven heat distribution, especially in some intense colored spot areas and read and understand the natural stone disclosure PDF)
Popular man made quartz countertops are NOT supported. Quartz contains resin that stains with heat from hot pots and pans and will quickly turn ugly and will void the warranty of stone.
